Providence has been up and down about 2/3rds of the season. As Sid Hartman used to say, "you never know which team is going to show up."

EP surprisingly dominated for a lot of this game, especially in the 3rd. Crowley being out was huge, but the Eagles but on a valiant effort…

Will Benilde do some soul-searching this off-season? Year after year they load up on talent and year after year they refuse to play defense or display any sort of discipline. We all know the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results. Can’t say I was surprised by the illegal hit to the head toward the end of the game. Hope Cowan is ok… Hornets will need him Wednesday night.

The New Prague/Albert Lea game was an all time great.

Rochester youth hockey better figure out how to pass the puck, crash the net and not kicking people is never a good thing. Otherwise not appearing in section final will continue.

You host it but 2009 was the last year a Rochester team was in section final. Mayo hasn’t been in one since 2000.

If Lourdes takes John Marshall they will immediately become the 1AA favorites next year.
