How are tickets being sold for Chan Vs Mika game? They aren’t on the Vanco Event website.

The schools are getting first crack at them, and the rest will be released on Vanco - either tomorrow or Thursday (I've seen both and don't know which is correct).

I tried the Vanco Events ticket site today and appears to have crashed.

Same for the Edina/Wayazata game. They were sold out before they even went public... :D

There's the PW B2 districts still going on at Braemar so the poor parents just looking to get in there and take care of business will likely have to park across the 169 and take an Uber in not knowing all of this is going on...

That's a shame. Perhaps Mariucci had gotten too big for what was needed but there's gotta be something in the middle of that and Braemar/BIG

Ridder seats 3400, which is roughly 1000 more than Braemar & BIG.

The 2AA/6AA finals at Mariucci has been discussed here in recent years, I understand why they went away from playing there as attendance really started to dwindle around 6-7 years ago. It seemed, to me, private schools advancing put some dent in attendance as Holy Family, Blake, BSM, CDH made appearances during that time. The Blake-BSM game was very empty in 2020. This year, four very large public schools advanced (and first trip for Chan) so I bet Mariucci would have been full this year for both games.

I also know some coaches didn't like playing on the Olympic ice so maybe they'll reconsider moving the games back there next year when they shrink the sheet down, and after seeing the attendance this year. Or at least we can hope...

I'll be at the Mar looking to pad Tonka's shot total tonight! Just so I have it correct, shots that hit the goalie in the logo crest count as two, correct?

Do you know how long the contracts Braemar & BIG signed were for? Hopefully not too long. Also to Corn on the cobbs comment as well, I have mentioned Ridder on here as well. Would be the perfect medium especially since it's not Olympic side which I understand coaches not liking

Yes. And any shot where the goalie moves, counts as one.

There is no contract for renting ice at Braemar or BIG or any other arena, it is not that official. Doubtful at Mariucci either, it's really just renting a few hours of ice really, the arenas are happy to host the high profile event and get to charge a higher hourly fee. I'm sure they could switch to Mariucci next year if they wanted to.

Ridder wouldn't be big enough to host both games, unless they were on separate nights. As a fan, I liked catching two games back to back.

The spuds winning quite easily but not a spud team like they used to have. A very good goalie but not much after that. I thought they were going to be the Dynasty of the future with big crowds and a large student section but very few fans no band top players moving out kids moving in and never doing very well in St. Paul kind of a head scratcher.

Not happy about getting beat down 5-1 earlier in the season. This was a statement win en route to defending their state title. I was just telling my bro that after seeing that top line against Grand Rapids last Saturday, my main thought was "Oh crap"

I'm putting my chips on Andover's #1 line. Could see some massive scoring, and Tonka didn't come out too impressive vs Chanhassen. As long as they have D that can stand like statues in the post position they should be fine.

My mistake, I thought I saw on here last year that BIG and Braemar had signed deals for a few years to host.
