You might want to add NSP vs SSP to that list.

That's pretty big. Perhaps the difference:
Saves
Porter - 13
Scavo - 20

Another score;
Holy Angels 7
Farmington 5
Must have been a fun game to watch.

Maple Grove 4
Coon Rapids 3
Considered an upset?

congrats to nsp. maybe an early Christmas present to them for giving ssp some very good games in the past when it seemed like no one else could...

NSP outplayed SSP and deserved the win. Some very poor play by key players, very stupid penalties by SSP mixed with good goaltending and big guns made enough plays for NSP led to a solid 3-0 win. SSP has now played back to back subpar games - very poor. If they do not correct it, they will get beat by HM Fri. However, I suspect they will come out with a renewed attitude Fri and at the Kaposia. The next NSP SSP game could be a very good one.

I would agree with gal. NSP outplayed SSP at every position. Even defense. The ref's called a lot of penalties starting in the 2nd period. With exception of Hogans penalty, NSP's key players stayed out of the box while SSP's Robertson, Stohr, Bloemers couldn't stay out of the penalty box or NSP's goal crease. Scavo played very well too. She made a great save on the PK, but the SSP player was called for in the crease so if it went in, it would have been no goal. I think NSP had 3 shots in the 1st period to SSP's 7.

A little break in the action...but that BIG battle in the Suburban East lurks on the horizon. Definitely a game to catch if at all possible.

Ponies look to have a solid starting goalie in Plum. Four shut outs in a row! I don't care you the teams were, thats impressive.
