Cloquet-Mahtomedi 1-1 after 1. Zephyrs were bottled up for most of the period. Didn't have a SOG until halfway through.
Cloquet's defense is impressive so far.
I agree, Moorhead-St.Thomas game of the day.

Mahtomedi 2-1 end of 2. SOG 20-18 Cloquet. Really good, tightly contested game. Mahtomedi serving out a penalty to start period 3.

Cloquet just tied it up at 5:00 minute mark period 3.

15 seconds into ot the Lumberjacks chopped down the Zephyrs 3-2. SOG ended up even at 20. Great game.

I was hoping to see the #2 team in the state play #15 Tonka this afternoon. I'm not sure who I saw play Tonka but it didn't look like the #2 team. 3-2 and a pair of ENGs was not what I wanted to see. We'll see how STA stands when they roll out of Moorhead, but it would appear that the Tue HM-STA game could be for the #2 ranking.

It's not time to panic, but Hill needs to get on track. Don't let the 5-2 win fool you, anymore than the 3-0 win over WB should
have fooled you.

HM wins 5-2 over Tonka with 2 empty netters at the end. Pretty even game, Tonka skated really well. Hill just has a few more snipers and that was the difference. Guys with Z in their name did well today (Zasada, Zupfer and Lentz)

Definitely thought Moorhead controlled the offensive zone more. A third possible matchup on Saturday at the X seems like it could occur. I’ll be interested to see how STA rebounds against HM on Tuesday.

Seems like kids were sick and what not. Heard some rumors but those two for sure were out. They had 3 goals on 7 shots after the first and it wasn’t even on the goalie IMO.
