This was a really good game. Hibbing came out flying and EGF did enough to hang in there. When it got to 5-2 it looked like Hibbing would cruise. EGF kept battling and knocked a couple more in to get back in.

I agree with TT saying that EGF wears you down. It was pretty noticeable once they took the lead that they had more jump.

Heck of a run by the Bluejackets and will play for 3rd tomorrow. They could have lost to Hermantown in the section semifinal and nobody would have thought much about it. Hibbing is young and talented. I won’t be surprised to see them down here again over the next few years.

Few seniors on their team. They should be even better next year. Maybe Hermantown should opt up :mrgreen:

They did say that on the broadcast yesterday. He said “maybe Hibbing will scare them up to AA”. 😂
