Feels like Moorhead needs 8 to win.

Credit to Stillwater for not giving up. And Moorhead. How many times can you score 7 and its not enough?!?

What’s the criteria to be a candidate for the Frank Brimsek award? Winning team?

Congrats to Moorhead, and all the teams that didn't quite make it for them. Not a pretty game, not going to be studied in text books, but they scored just enough to win. Much like the regular season game where HM beat Stillwater, it was a flurry of first period goals that were the difference. After that tonight, Stillwater was the better team but just couldn't stop Moorhead from scoring or quite tie it. But no quit and nothing to be ashamed of.

With that, heading to the hot tub. Peace out, talk next year.

Going into this game, if you would have told me Stillwater would score 6—and lose—I would have said you’re on crack. Conway didn’t give up a single goal in the first two games and likely hasn’t given up 7 since mites. And he still made a number of big saves in the the game. It could have been worse. Crazy.

It's too bad my Dad didn't live ling enough to see this. He didn't care about Moorhead, but I've missed him.

I couldn’t be happier for the Spuds. Unbelievable game. Stillwater was awesome. As a fan, it gets no better.

Seen a lot of great games in my 63 years. This one is up there.

Thank you to both teams. 😎

Somewhere, Westy is smiling after that one.

I guess if you're a goalie in the championship game, you make the all tournament team. Stehnhejm (sp?) gave up 13 goals in 3 games and Conway gave up more goals in the first period tonight than the Shakopee kid did in all three games combined.

Not sure tonight’s game was as much about bad goaltending as it was about some great snipers. Offense was off the charts tonight.

Mostly agree. Moorhead goalie gave up a softy or two.

But, hey, he’s a state champ, so good for him.

This game had more of an All Star game feel to it. Very fun for fans. Not so much for goalies. Those goalies did a huge part in getting them to tonight though.

Both of those goalies on the all tournament team? What a farce.

The usher at the top of 124 played better D all weekend, she was an absolute cop.

Wondering if selections were made before the title game so they could round up players not playing in the championship?
