Re: 3AA Final at New UST Arena
I don't see that on the MSHSL website. For AA sections, I only see finals locations listed for 6 (Ridder), 4 (Gene Aldrich), and 8 (neutral site). That does not preclude the possibility that the 3AA final will be there and the MSHSL web page does not yet reflect that. It could be that STA leaned on it's UST connections to make it happen.
The Andy seats 4K for hockey, over 5K for hoops. I never asked how much of the hockey seating is in the private suites. I have fairly intimate knowledge of the facility, and I'd be at minimum mildly surprised if they allowed rowdy high school fans in their new $175M shed, especially in the first season. The club level is what my old man would have called "fan-cee", and if I were in Facilities I'd be wary of a bunch of hootin' & hollerin' 10th graders to run wild there. But other's mileage may vary.
The auxiliary rink has seating on one side, with a good sized replay screen on the opposite side centered on the red line. Both ends have full score boards including penalty clocks. I was never able to ask any UST folks if the plan is to have at least some of the women's hockey games there. I'd guess it seats about 1,200.
That institution has some well healed backers, and more than just Lee & Penny Anderson. It's a very nice building, and I'm eager to see how it is for watching some D1 puck.

That would be understandable.I obviously can't confirm it's 100% happening I'll just say i believe the person who told me this is happening to be an extremely reliable source...DM me if you want names.East Side Pioneer Guy wrote: ↑Wed Sep 10, 2025 6:43 am I don't see that on the MSHSL website.
