Preseason Top 10

Any preseason top 10's out there?

Here is my take on AA:

1) HM
2) Cent/SLP
3) Edina
4) HF
5) Tonka
6) MG
7) BSM
8 ) Farmington
9 ) Roseau
10) Andover

I believe there are 6-8 schools you could put in the 9-10 spots.

1. Hill-Murray
2. Centennial/SLP
3. Edina
4. Holy Family
5. Minnetonka
6. Benilde
7. Bemidji
8. Maple Grove
9. Andover
10. Roseau

I had Woodbury at 10 before being made aware that they'll be without both Gnetz twins this year. Bemidji returns literally every skater so I'm pretty high on them. Would've had Edina at 2 but I think Edina losing their goalies and Centennial bringing in the healthy Gnetz twin puts them ahead of Edina.

Class A
1. Warroad
2. Breck
3. Blake
4. Dodge County
5. Proctor/Hermantown
6. Holy Angels
7. Mound
8. Marshall
9. Orono
10. Crookston

I feel really confident in my top three, and I could see 4 through 8 ending up basically anywhere in that range by year's end. Orono is a wildcard because they lost a ton but they're also still Orono. I think this could be another solid year for Crookston so they got the 10 spot.

Are you sure they'll be without both of them? Because the Woodbury Girls Hockey Instagram page says Brooke Gnetz is a team captain for the upcoming season.

Word is that she is hurt and won't be playing this season. And her sister then transferred. Woodbury had a really nice squad last year and played HM tough in the section final.

Does the MSHSL not look into this? Does anybody ever call them? Or are they just blind to this?

Yup. It's pretty unfortunate, I think they'd be a top 5 team if they had both of them healthy.
