Well the season is underway and had our first big matchup of the year with Holy Family going into Braemar and defeating Edina 3-2. Pretty even game from what I watched (although I was watching the HM game closer). Holy Family really has a nice squad this year and looks like the Hornets lost some of their outstanding offense from last year.

Where's the rankings? Looks like I needed to login with an account to get that.
I can splash in the rink puddles!

Yeah, they stuffed the rankings behind the paywall. But the old site still works, can still see the schedule, the teams, their schedule. The new site is trash.

Parity continues to increase, which is good to see.

I can see now, Woodbury, who plays one good team all year (bsm) will be one loss or undefeated again going into sections and will likely be gifted the #1 seed. Doesn't really matter, as I'd be surprised if they could give HM a game, but there's always that chance.

Its good for Woodbury though, as they lost their two best players who should be senior leaders. They obviously have talent in the pipeline.

Just poking around and I found the River Cities - Andover game from 1/6/2026.

River Cities is awarded THREE penalty shots in the same game!!! The Blades' Tessa Boden scored on the first two PS, and Bella Lindquist is stoned by Andover's Claire Hills on the third. I don't know what the State record is, but I find it difficult to believe that any team has ever been awarded more penalty shots in the same game.
