Down goes Moorhead to that Grand Forks Central team who would be ranked #25 in Minnesota by PageStat.

If the Spuds have an Achilles Heel, it seems to be their tendency to get into track meets instead of clamping down defensively. It almost cost them the state championship last year, will it come back to bite them this year?

Anyone who watches Moorhead closer than me have a more detailed report?

Having Joey Cullen out to injury for the past month doesn't help Moorhead either.

A lot of people (including me) didn't think the Falls rating was warranted but consider this; they have a tie against #16 Proctor, a win over #18 Northern Lakes, and played Hibbing close, losing by 2. They've beaten the teams they should beat, so maybe PageStat knows something I don't?

My off season plan is to redo the ratings to include all games played by Wisconsin teams in the past. Their website goes back to the 2010-11 season, so I guess I won't be bored this spring/summer! But by including these games, the Minnesota ratings will also change a bit, so those pages will need to be recoded. How it affects PageStat's predicting Section Tournament games is currently unknown. It could tweak the results a game or two either way.

The weekly PageStat updates scheduled for Sun. 2/8 won't be affected by the database glitch affecting legacy.hockey but it will (unless fixed by tomorrow morning) prevent updates to the Wisconsin Top 15. Both websites are being affected by this. Legacy.hockey has a temporary fix in place on the Minnesota side. No idea what wisconsinprephockey.net is doing for a temporary fix for their state. It sucks because I was in the middle of downloading Wisconsin scores for the 2022-23 season as part of a larger process to access scores going back to 2011-12.
