#2 Seed Blake (17-7-2) comes into this game earning their 4th straight win over Providence Academy in the 2A Quarterfinal Round. The Bears have been everything we expected when they announced they were dropping back into Class A last spring. This is a balanced and deep veteran roster, and they have been led by Srs. Joe Erickson & Landon Bell up front and Jr. Axel Bisbee on the blueline is a great talent, and they have just worn most of the Class A teams they face down with their depth and veteran presence. They did play the 612 crew back in December, and they skated Minneapolis off the ice as they won that one easily. Things won’t be that easy this time around, as the Cinderella "Private School Killers” are coming into this one full of confidence, and the Bears will need to play their best game.

#6 Seed Minneapolis (13-12-2) comes into this game fresh off getting the biggest upset so far in the playoffs by taking down Top 10 Breck in the Section 2A Quarterfinal round. The 612 crew just outworked the Mustangs for portions of the game, as the emotions of their former coach and teammate leaving them seemed to fuel them all night. They won a great team game, but they did get a standout performance from their talented young stud defenseman Soph. Wilson Lamberty, who helped get them the lead. After that, netminder 9th grader Ivan Kelly stole the show as the youngster showed no nerves at all and made numerous big saves throughout the game to preserve the upset win. Now they take on another 2A Private School Power in Blake, and the formula for them will be the same. Play great team defense, outwork the Bears for every 50/50 puck, and get some opportunistic scoring. They will have a huge student body supporting them as they look to make their 3rd Straight Section 2A Final Game.

According to the ticket site, it's sold out. I'd like to know if they offer more tickets after the first game.
