My two cents..and all that it is probably worth. Goalies doing the double bird is ten times worse than a pillow fight with gloves on. No gloves were taken off so no harm or serious intent. Just compassion/ frustration and some regrets afterwards but no malice. Competition we want ! It makes everyone better. I had a front row seat and I saw a bench of spuds versus a handful of hornets. Lighten up everyone. I saw no sucker punches, slashes or anything that would have caused more damage than a blocked shot. Sportsmanship is important yes and I’m sure the adults on both sides will use what happened as teaching moment. I do have a problem with the F hornets and booing teenage girl cheerleaders. I’ve respected the Hornets for 50 years and nothing they did last night will change that. They continue to be the standard all programs want to achieve. First rate program. But as a non Hornet, I cheered when spuds won. A great class A game today and I’m looking forward to a good one tonight…and number 8 for Edina…you are a good player and I am sure person. Learn a lesson and move on to do great things on and off the ice. As they say..it’s harder to build a fire than put one out! Don’t change too much and keep competing!
