Coliseum History For Sale

Post by East Side Pioneer Guy »

For all you who, for some reason I will never comprehend, miss watching hockey at the State Fair Coliseum, now you can own a piece of that experience. Among other items of questionable value the Fair is selling, you can buy a pair of the old seats you may have sat in. Buy a pair of these babies for the Man Cave, and relive watching Tim Sager's hands rise up, as if tethered to helium balloons, as he fruitlessly worked Strips for the call that never came.

Those actually are pretty sweet.

For those in the eastern 'burbs, there's a pretty good sandwich shop just off White Bear lake's north side called Alleycat's. They have a trash can from the metrodome, and it's cool looking. Its stainless steel and the carved in the shape of the dome into it. Probably a similar situation, where they were auctioning off things before it was razed
The City of Hill Murray is beautiful this time of year
