Re: Breck
What's the problem? Who wouldn't want to go to a nice, clean (albeit a bit different let's just say), safe school with great facilities at a discounted rate while playing for a respected coach and get meaningful minutes?

Re: Breck
Seriously though, what's the problem? I know of a few kids electing to move in to Breck and don't believe it's much more than JD being a household name and it being a fact there is time to go around. At least for 1-2 years. Won't be surprised to see Breck get more of the traditional Blake, TG or even Minnetonka, Wayzata and HF kids.

From the Breck homepage.
Our Mission
We create confident learners who lead lives of intellectual curiosity, self-knowledge, and social responsibility.
No social responsibility if you lie about where you live to play hockey. It’s all good! No different than other schools but MSHL makes themselves look like a fool when they allow it. Just get rid of the rule and call it MN high school NIL.

Re: Breck
This can and has been debated until the grass turns brown, but if you have the means to attend a private school that's up to you. Where I don't agree is the reverse bounce back where you go to a private, find out you were duped or Mom and Dad feel you were duped and you bounce back. With a few exceptions, this is absolute cow dung.Lino Lakes Hockey wrote: ↑Wed Jul 01, 2026 8:22 pm From the Breck homepage.
