i think its been like the last 5 years for hibb/warr... this one should be a solid game.. im going to say 3-1 hibbing.. 5th straight time <p></p><i></i>

I say it'll be tight, tied up through the third and then a string of goals from either team. Could go both ways <p></p><i></i>

Was anyone there? Could we get some details, was it closer than the score. How did the game go down? I would have to say that I'm a little surprised, as I thought Hibbing would win this one.<br><br>Congrats to Warroad, and good luck at state. <p></p><i></i>

alright, community ed asked me to keep a score flow, so here it is:<br><br>1st period--both teams came onto the ice strong just ready to go for the puck but holly roberts domineered and took it to the net in 20. Most of the action stayed within a few feet of the hibbing crease. At the end of the period, there were no penalties and 11 shots on Krause, 1 on pieper.<br><br>Period 2--Action still mostly in front of the hibbing net, but moved into the corners a bit; play getting more physical halfway through the second in front of the benches. With 8 minute left, a shot by mosher deflected off of Fairbank's skate and into the net. 2-0 Warroad. A minute and a half later, hibbing scores on a rebound by Briski with 6 minutes 31 seconds to go. Hibbing defense is picking up steam. At the end of another no-penalty period, shots stand as 25 on krause, 7 on pieper<br><br>Third period--Overall play is getting noticably more physical at this point; refs were looking like they wanted to whistle a few but held back. Warrior defense is shining through everything. More action down in the Warroad end, but with a bit of struggle the defense manages to get it out. Roberts gets hold of the puck to the side of the net, passes it to brittany dunkel. The shot rebounds and is put in by holly roberts with 9 minutes and 36 seconds left. 3-1 Warroad.<br><br>2 minutes later, warroad eighth grader brook storey brings it down to shoot. Reinhart pick up rebound and puts it in with 7 minutes and 13 seconds left. 4-1 Warroad.<br>1st penalty of the game; brook storey on the cross-check at the 13:20 mark. Time runs out, not sure if chelsea krahn was put in penalty inthe final minute, and warroad advances to state.<br><br>Hibbing showed amazing sportsmanship last night. There were no uncalled for hits, and the game was played how it was meant to be. <br><br>Best moment of the game for this warrior was after, when Holly Roberts called former teammate and current Gopher Gigi Marvin from the ice.
