Re: Why scores are inaccurate in Media...
yeah. And I had to deal with not only the difference in scoresheets themselves (legal/vertical; legal/horizontal; letter/vertical; letter horizontal--shots vs saves blah blah)

BUT some scorers put the time down as "time elapsed" (which I think is correct) and some enter it as the "time remaining" as on the scoreclock...

Breck has probably the WORST scoresheet I've seen. (Hmm..well, maybe Redwing. We could set up a poll!?)
Breck's scoresheet had about 40 lines for the roster--extremely teeny spaces. But it was filled out by hand, then a crummy, very dark xerox was giving to the other team.

I had to photoshop the doggone thing to scan a copy that was readable! (but only after I took a 00 rapidograph pen and darkened all the entries).

Is this worth it? I'm not sure--ask me 20 years from now!

PS: Although they are...ahem...minimalistic..., I actually like the scoresheets from Steve at VMIA. If you have an accurate roster in your posession, they are perfect.

True, true on VMIA. Never had the Breck experience I don't believe as last I saw them they may have been at the old rink! It's been a while...

well, just go to my link and find the breck games...(although they are significantly cropped and enlarged!).
