The following schools will be recognized as the Section Team Academic Champions at the Ms. Hockey Banquet, Sunday, February 26, 2006 at the River Centre in St. Paul, MN. Right on ghshockeyfan. Congratulations to the academic champions! Academic's are high on the list if you want to succeed at the next level or to be successfull in your future endeavors. A famous All American and Olympic hockey player probally stated it best. " Remember, you can't eat your hockey jersey" <p></p><i></i>

Anyone know which teams were announced as the state academic champs at the Ms. Hockey banquet today? <p></p><i></i>

Can someone tell me why they only use the seniors grades? Isn't it suppose to be a team thing??? <p></p><i></i>

They use 9-12 for team.<br><br>All State Academic (individual) is Sr only with 3.8 cumulative GPA or higher.<br><br>Reminds me of an interesting situation that I faced with a team with 15 Varsity 8th & 9th graders one year... I didn't have enough eligible kids to get to the minimum 10 needed in grades 9-12 so I had to take zeros on a number of the scores in the total...
