Everyone expected Bemdji Brainerd and Roseau to go on from the gold region but Warroad pulled out some major upsets and sent Brainerd home saturday night and took the championship game against Bemdiji on Sunday morning! They didnt have such a hott start to the weekend but pulled it through in the end..I would like to give major props to their goaltender Erika Thunder she is a brick wall in the net and played very well for the Warroad team this weekend. I wish the Warroad 14-U good luck at state! <p></p><i></i>

I thought that The Gold Regions For 14 U were Interesting! And in the End the Same Teams that have advanced in the past ...did again..- Roseau Has some Players that have went to State previously and this is their 4th Year! Thats quite an accomplishment Id have to say-..and Bemidji this is theirs I believe or 3rd also..so bemdji and Roseau Definatly Deserve to advance to state.--... ! But When It comes to Warraod- They have Played Brainerd all year and Brainerd has beaten them over and over..but It looks like Warraod Sneaks away barely again!-- Good luck to all of the teams ..and Represent the North well! <p></p><i></i>
