what do you mean by north? does this count moorhead and duluth or just iron range, or anything above metro..............?

Next year, watch for Tyler Aandal from TRF. He was the leading scorer on the Pee-Wee A team this last year, and has exceptional speed and hockey sense. He will only be a first year bantam, but should be a big contributor to the team's success. Yes, those of you in the know realize I'm biased here, but he is a great young hockey player, and if he continues to develop, he will be great to watch in the coming years.

How about the younger Festler kid from Little Falls i haven't seen him for a couple years but when he was a pewwe he was an outstanding player

I have Jared Festler on the select 15 squad if that's who your talking about. He's an excellent hockey player! Possibly the best forward on the District 15 squad.

Your statement about Tyler Aandal may be one of the dumbest statements I have ever seen on this board. First off he is not even a bantam yet. I have never seen him play but I have a hard time believing that he would compare to Michael Benedict and Cory Horien from Thief River Falls. From my sources in Thief River Falls he would be about 5 or 6 in next years bantam class from Thief River Falls. Don't make dumb statements on this board- The only thing i can see is that maybe you are Tyler Aandal.

Hibbing-Luke Davis is a very fast forward with a fairly hard, accurate shot. Easily could have played Varsity on that state team. Also goalie Jasha Marchuk is very skilled...good down low...quick...but a lil shakey up high. Virginia- Tow fairly fast forwards, Sicetti and MCGilvery...Work Very well together. I'Falls-Goalie...named Jelle I believe...quick and smart. Ely- NO ONE Eveleth- ONe O.K. D, name unknown...not much up front, but a little goalie who is very quick seems to be well...must be a '90 Cloquet- One average forward. East-Cade Fairchild...enough said. Lakers-had one tall agressive forward...decent speed. Alexandria-same type of kid, hard slap shot. Greenway-Joey Westlake is their best player...and he will not make varsity next season. Hermantown-3 solid players, #7 I do not know his name. he is fast adn puck handy. One good D i think #10 and their goalie is outstanding...

i saw the kid play a few times this season, and watched several other metro teams, I would say him and the Christian kid from Moorhead were the 2 best kids in the State, Foss from Moorhead very good too, not as flashy as Fairchild but a better NHL prospect.

hanowski did so well in peewees this year because every other year he has been moving up early but didn't this year so thats 3 years of peewee's so its expected to dominate his dad wanted to go to state so he had him stay down.;<img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... ohwell.gif ALT=":\">

I skated with Fairchild on an outdoor rink over the holidays and two minutes into the game I asked who the kids was. He is a big time talent and will look great in an East jersey. I thought he had to already be playing for East when I asked who he was. He has great hands and is a very good skater. Definately can have an impact for the Hounds in upcoming years.

Since this "Phone a Friend" lifeline worked so well for you, his word must be taken above all others? I'm curious as to who this friend is. Maybe he has his own agenda. Your statement about Aandal being the 5th or 6th best player on the Pee Wee A team this year almost made me spit milk out my nose. Let's see... He was by far the leading scorer on the Pee Wee A team this year. And although I cannot confirm it right now, I've heard from a few parents that he may have broken the TRF single season Pee Wee record for points. I believe Horien held the record previously. He played top line all season, led the power play and even played PK consistently. The top line, obviously, was by far their best line, and he ammassed easily the most points. Luke Dillon, the center of the top line, is the only other forward who came remotely close to Aandal's point total. Again, since you seem to have trouble with this concept, I never once said Aandal will be the best player on the team this coming year. I simply stated that he's a great player and should develop into a team leader. 5th or 6th best player on the Pee Wee team? Again, thanks for the laugh.
