lockout/Wild

Post by frozensi »

Now that the season is cancelled, I think they should reverse roles. Just like in between periods of Wild games, they have Minnesota youth come out for a short scrimmage. how about have the Wild come out in between the periods of the state tourney and play a scrimmage..... Makes sense to me!

They would want too much money to perform. <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... /laugh.gif ALT=":lol"> <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... s/roll.gif ALT=":rollin"> <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... /laugh.gif ALT=":lol">

Charity? That is what they are going to call it now so they can get paid somehow.

Zoe,

Geez u sound bitter! Hey if some NHL'ers want to play a game for charity I say go for it. They understand that the lockout took a great deal away from the sport at the pro level this year, and maybe this is an opportunity to make some young kids eyes sparkle like they do if they get a chance to see a game at the XCEL. I think it's great.

And for the record, a few people on both sides of the lockout controlled what was finalized today. A lot of those guys not playing now love the game and not just for the money. For some money is the most important thing, for others not!

i think they should give the stanley cup to the biggest state in the country (obviously mn) , and then the mshl should play a game between the two teams that win A and AA state and the winner of that should get the cup this year<img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... /smile.gif ALT=":)"> at least it would get some use!<img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... /happy.gif ALT=":D">

Ha, thats awesome, and the high school team that wins would have their names engraved on it forever...of course if this stuff doesnt get settled by next year then it could remain in that school's trophy case...i see no reason why not! Anyone think this will be settled by the time the next season rolls around?
