Have to go with Duluth Marshall!!! Great band from the smallest school at state!

Marshalltopper... you should really check out the Jefferson band... they've been voted best band in the state year after year <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... tongue.gif ALT=":p">

Re: band
Jefferson's. At Mariucci during sections they just about busted my eardrums so I made sure to sit far away from them at the tourney and they still made me deaf. <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... lasses.gif ALT="8)">
Elk River AA State Champions- 2001 Boys & 2004 Girls
Edited by: <A HREF=http://p074.ezboard.com/bmnhs.showUserP ... kesBack at: 3/6/05 4:13 pm

Moorhead was poor during the championship. AHA sounded fantastic in comparison.

Re: Bands
I thought Easts percussionists(word?) were pretty cool. Its pretty cool high school/college atmosphere when you get the drums playing during play. Goalie makes a big save and the drums start in. I think thats sweet.

Re: Bands
Jefferson's band was the best for AA, and Duluth Marshall for A. Pretty cool how DM band can be that good or even have a band when they are that small of of school. Good Job to all the bands, it makes state a lot better with you guys!

Edited by: <A HREF=http://p074.ezboard.com/bmnhs.showUserP ... ltopper at: 3/7/05 3:13 pm

Re: Bands
There are about 100 members in the HM band this year. I just found out today that there are 137 registered incoming students for next year. If HM goes to state next year that makes 237 kids competing for 45 spots in the state tournament pep band. That way only the best will get in!
