State Boys Basketball Tourney
I know FreeAgent, who cares about basketball? And there is only one high school sport in Minnesota. I agree, the state hockey tourney holds the majority of the luster for MN high school sports, and is my favorite time of year.

But this year, I recommend checking out the AA basketball tourney. Basketball has four Classes I believe (I don't hear any debates there), but if you want to see a great basketball team, see Braham play in the AA tourney.

I got a chance to see them play last week at St. Cloud State in their section final, and it truly was a treat to watch (and I am easily bored with Basketball). They are the returning AA champions, have won 50-some straight games, and have 6 or 7 players that will go on to play college basketball. They have the best player in the state, Junior Isaiah Dahlman the best Sophomore in the state, Noah Dahlman...and several other stud players, like Josh Vaughan.

Like I said, basketball bores me easily. But Braham basketball excites me.

Quote:
the best Sophomore in the state, Noah Dahlman

He is good, but there are two better. Cole Aldrich from Jefferson and Trevor Mbakwe from Henry Sibley are better, in my opinion. I would like to see, for this year, Braham in the 4A tourney, see how they would do against those teams. I would not be shocked if they were to win 4A, if they played in it.

I am just going from my basketball sources who say Noah Dahlman is the best sophomore in the state.

As for them not winning the 4A title, I would love to see it. I think they'd be the clear favorite.
