Remember the Wild?

Remember the good old days of when the NHL was still here, and the Wild were in the playoffs? I was just reminded of this...<br><br>Anyone remember that guy Mark Kiszla, who writes in the Denver Post, ripping on the Wild the whole time?<br><br>I still have some of his quotes:<br><br>---"The Av's surrendered the lead twice to Wild players who did not belong on the same ice."<br><br>---"Colorado is one loss from seeing its Stanley Cup dreams die at the hands of lowly Minnesota, a team with one-third the payroll of the Avalanche and a mere fraction of the talent."<br><br>---"With the Avalanche ahead 2-1, there are no more Wild ambitions."<br><br>---"Minnesota, whose red-and-green uniforms must have been inspired by those gauche folks who leave up their Christmas lights all year, ranks No. 1 in the NHL in only one department. Apparently those Coloradians think they're God or something. Well Minnesota sure showed them a thing or two didnt they! Maybe its because the Wild fed off all the negative energy. <p></p><i></i>

They had two, I repeat two players that were Americans, Jim Dowd and Darbie Hendrickson. Both of which aren't in the wild orginazation right now. <p>AHA 2002 & 2005 State Champions!<br></p><i></i>
