Favre & Owens
Watching sportscenter, Owens thinks the eagles would be better with Favre at the helm. I hate to agree with him. Watching Favre this season, he really has been pretty good. I know, I know, five INT's. But if you take a closer look, Green Bay has absolutely no recievers. They get absolutely no seperation and the passes he has to complete are incredible. If the Packers had a T.O. or even Walker back, he would be a top three QB this year. Look at the Vikings game, those touchdown passes he threw had to be perfect, and almost every other pass for that matter.

So here it is, Owens is right, and I really don't like the guy. But he and Favre would be a fun combination to watch. What do all you guys think? probably that I'm nuts, but I don't know!
AHA 2002 & 2005 State Champions!

Edited by: <A HREF=http://p100.ezboard.com/bmnhs.showUserP ... iakChew at: 11/3/05 10:43 pm

Re: lol
Pure talent - give me McNab.
If the game is on the line, i want the guy who can't pronounce his name or where he's from. I don't think this would mesh however, I got a feelin that Mr Owens is the kind of guy who might take a right cross from a good ole country boy in the huddle, after spouting one too many times.

Re: lol
If you think about it the scenario isn't that far fetched anymore.
However, I don't think the Packers are so desparate taht they would allow a cancer like this on their team.

KC what up. Been busy, havent heard from you in a while. Season starts in a few weeks for HS.

Look at who Favre has had to throw to, not much and he has still put up amazing numbers. I'd take Favre over McNabb anyday.

Elk River AA State Champions- 2001 Boys & 2004 Girls

No cap room?
Imagine being 1-7 and having no cap room. Anybody overpaid?

Nonsense
Holey crap! NewGuy is alive!!!

Do we really want to list off all the overpaid people on GB? I would say the bulk of them are on the D, the D that doesn't do much of anything to stop anybody.

Elk River AA State Champions- 2001 Boys & 2004 Girls

Packers
There D is pretty bad, but then again they are in the top 10 this year in total defense, I don't know how that happened. And they just beat Vick and Atlanta. I don't know how the Packers can lose to some of these teams and then beat Atlanta, it just doesn't make sense.
If Favre had anyone to throw to, his numbers would be a lot better, half of those interceptions aren't his fault because he has to fit the ball into such tight places (and also a lot of tiped interceptions this year).
Next Weekend will be fun, Packers vs. Queens, Monday night. Even though the records suck, it should be fun to watch! Go Packers!
