Looking for arena pictures

Post by shadow1 dfsc »

My name is Andrew, and I am a recently transplanted Minnesotan now living in Maine.

I'm doing a project and am looking for pictures of arena's located in the Iron Range region. Unfortunately the internet is a little lacking on such pictures so I've come here looking for a little of that Minnesota hospitality I remember so well.

Namely I am looking for outdoor pictures of Iron Range pictures. They don't have to be anything fancy, just pictures that can capture as much of the exterior of the facility as possible...

Here is an example of what I am seeking.

Here is my list of arena's I am seeking pictures of.

Bronco Arena, International Falls
Babbitt Ice Arena, Babbitt
Chisholm Arena, Chisholm
Ely Arena, Ely
Gilbert Arena, Gilbert
Hallett Community Center, Crosby
Hermantown Arena, Hermantown
Hodgins/Berardo Arena, Coleraine
John Glas Fieldhouse, Bemidji
Nashwauk Recreation Center, Nashwauk

If anyone has any digital format pictures (bitmap or jpg) and wouldn't mind helping me out please send them to ahart17@surfglobal.net. Any such pictures would be greatly appreciated.

By the way, amazing forum!

I was gonna say, boblee, you live in a fairly central local there...get that digital camera out and make a weekend of it Road trip!

Lee
____________
Message Board arsonist since 2005
Egomaniac since 2006

Stitch Lips: Thank you very much for the picture of the HCC. If I may ask, are you a resident of the Cuyuna Range, or just playing there? I'm actually from around the area, went to high school at Aitkin (feel free to toss on the turkey jokes!)

boblee: What Stitch Lips did would suffice. For the time of the day I would prefer day, gives a little better viewing. As for the time of year it doesn't matter. If you have anything during the spring or summer, great! If you have anything from the winter, great! You get the picture.
As for the types of pictures I am seeking... I am looking for exterior shots of these buildings. The clincher that I am asking for is the front entrance to be in it. And the pic can either be of the front or at a diagonal angle.

Thanks for offering to help out, much appreciated by this former Iron Ranger!

Edited by: <A HREF=http://p100.ezboard.com/bmnhs.showUserP ... sc>shadow1 dfsc at: 1/24/06 6:23 am
