Hard to argue with any of the selections made from these most proficient and distinguished posters appearing on this fabulously entertaining forum; recent concerns about schizophrenia not withstanding. Any one of these fine looking people could steal a scene at any time. BB has to be commended for this effort but hey, thats why they give out that little statute named Oscar in the Spring. As I said all along and the computer ( Hal Jr. ) agrees in todays new pagestat2 ratings for Hal Jr. knows how long, the #1 and #2 teams in the state are, yup, you guessed it, Moorhead 'Spuds' #1 and the Warroad ' Warriors' #2 ! 4 of the top 10 in the state of Minnesota are Class A teams as are 2 of the top 3!....<img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... /laugh.gif ALT=":lol"> 3 of the top 10 teams in the state are section 8 teams as Lake of the Woods enters the elite! Zer0 is ready to show his cards and tell all of the grain faithful who his state chumpions picks are....however not now, I have already gone way against the grain in picking my section 8 weiners and I will be oscar meyer 'hizself' if I am gonna go any farther 'out on a limb' until sections are over. These points are true..... 1. I will prolly pick someone that most prolific posters dont. 2. I will see kranky and slappy at the camel spot but da beaver den rips off da filters. 3. Actually, when you think about it, one third of the top 9 ranked teams in the Great State of Minnesota High School Hockey are from section 8, with the top 2 being Moorhead#1 and Warroad #2 and Lake of the Woods sliding in at #9. Seems my secret about the team that starts with lake and ends with woods has been EXPOSED... I gotta tell ya that I saw a great sign of sportsmanship and a CLASS act by the spud fans @ the girls finals previously this evening. Even though the Spuds took it on the chin, the gals acted very respectfully and the fans even moreso. Zer0 was watchin a tournament in da other rink but saw bits and pieces of the class act that was the Moorhead contingent. Zero, your right the Spudchicks and the rest of the taters were a classy act last night (not always the case for other spudniks when they are in the barnyard). They took it on the chin but gave the Elkette's more of a game then anyone else in the section! The only downfall was they delayed the Fossil League start time which cut into da Last Turn rendezvous. Hey V-Scout, where were you last night, we coulda used anudder skater or 2.

Slappy, your prediction was pretty close, I thought the Studs woulda won by more, but probably let the 4th line play alot tonight because the game was meaningless. I watched the youngest of da soup clan's son KC play a Jr. gold game at da barnyard, I heard woodtick is somewhere in Arizonia, between da CSer rock and da big firebird. Sounds like zer0 is going to show up at da pow wow.

Yeah kranky, Woodtick and some of his brothers were pretty good players in their day. Hill Murray has a fine team though, for those who may wonder. They put up a great fight! Looks like the Warroad 'Warriors finished the regular season in fine style too with a 7 nothin' victory against Apollo. Slappy, I've been watching these Studs since they were peewees and I made a prediction years ago that these guys would be state champs (ask Chopper in da N.E. barnyard). You probably didn't know dat me an da tick were D partners (when I wasn't in the sin bin) for dem blue warriors many moons ago, the next soup boy down the totem pole was also on da team. Some stories der, but not in this forum!

Zeros picks are not in the same section but what an intrigueingly grainy pick none the less. So, SLP wins A and Edina wins AA. That would mean that the A champ defeated the AA champ not once but twice during the season. Now, that would go against the grain of a good many posters here in.
