chat on Wed?
I vote for chat on Wed. night. Would be cool to discuss the 7AA playoffs and other sections that come out with their brackets.

Re: Talking
Lee, you should really look at having some good chat hours on Wednesday Night (15th) and Monday Night (20th)...I can't be home until about 10:00 on the 15th, but others can get a good chat in. You should open it around 8:30 each night and shut the doors around 10:30 if you get tired.

Re: Talking
Not sure about Monday the 20th, but I'll likely have it up and running around 9 p.m. on Wednesday, depending on what time I get home. If Rapids doesn't get the top seed, I'll bring the cheese. Someone else can bring the wine. Maybe we can get Ciskie in here.

Lee
____________
Message Board arsonist since 2005
Egomaniac since 2006

Re: Talking
1 or 2 is fine with many of the GR faitful, the only way GR will complain is if they are not in the top 2. Either way they should play East in the final, granted each keep winning. Thanks Lee.

Re: Talking
I'd like to see it but the problem here is getting five of those schools to move up. Little or no chance of that happening. Somebody (if not all five schools) will play the "well, Class A is just a better fit for us" card.

Lee
____________
Message Board arsonist since 2005
Egomaniac since 2006

Re: Talking
Maybe MSHSL should make the expectation less for AA schools, smaller size mandatory AA?

enrollment of 750 or more--AA

Re: bobbinlee
even with that number, not one section 7A school would have to move up

What does Hibbing enroll?

Cutoff
But they could throw people from 2A & 8A in 7AA couldn't they?

Elk River AA State Champions- 2001 Boys & 2004 Girls

Re: Cutoff
You would think that there would be plenty of teams in sections 2 and 8 A that would be forced to move up...

Re: Cutoff
Not that it makes any difference, but Section 8A enrollment is considerably smaller (10-12) averaging over 100 kids less than 7A per hockey school if your numbers are correct. It is kind of funny, but Roseau's (10-12) enrollment would make it the 3rd smallest school if it was in 7A.

Re: Cutoff
i am pretty sure that all section 7 schools are 9-12

MSHSL Only Cares
But the enrollment only measures 10-12 correct?

Elk River AA State Champions- 2001 Boys & 2004 Girls

Re: MSHSL Only Cares
ERE, I'm not sure. Someone find the enrollment of Grand Rapids and I'll tell you if its 10-12 or 9-12.
