The 2 section 8 giants will collide soon but whatever the outcome...March will come in like a lion with these 2 arriving in thr Saintly City on board the train to the 'ship. Say,what if Warroad won the head to head and then both teams won their championships at the X? The A champ beats the AA champ? How could the supremists even turn on the computer ....let alone visit this fine forum. That would change everything and go against the grain of oh so many.

Well. I see that SS is stoked up for the rematch or maybe just the continuation of what may be a long rivalry. Any chance he'll be released in time to be in town for the game? The tables should be turned this year as da Spuds are stronger with added move in players and the Cougars are a little down form last year but still very good. This changes everything and should result in this being a preview to the inevitable events that will occur in March in the same place.

Holy cougars, Slapman, those Spuds are the real deal! The ghosts of Gorowsky, Flynn and Stutz, which might still be floating around the Excel, won't be enough to save the Cougars tonight. The mighty Spudslayer, Mike Montgomery, will be on the ice in person, but he has shorn his hair and like a de-locked Samson will not have the strength to rescue the cats from the buzzing Taters. And Bear or Star won't have a prayer against wave after wave of mashing Potatoes on Thursday night. Moorhead will be the toast of the town as they roll out, ready to thunder back into town in March on the Section 8 Express.

A lot of people might think that tying last year's champion that lost 3-4 key players is not domination. This notion must be quickly dispelled as the true measure of domination is to win the close ones when you aren't playing well. Those crazy section 8 teams are doin it and will play for the championship and take it back home. They will do it now and in another little tournament to be played in March at the same place. A fact of modern life.

I'm not entirely sure how scoring 0 goals in 62 minutes of HOCKEY is a win, but never the less take your tie and call it a win if it makes you happy. What's really amazing is how good both these teams are and how even they are, just think about it; the last two times they played there has been 116 minutes of hockey and a 1 goal has been scored. Maybe missing Lee changed things a bit, but I hope these two teams play again in March. How can Moorhead take the championship back home? One loss and the doubters come out of the closet. Aren't they brave. I didnt see the doubters come out with any "canidates" for the title. Is WBL now going to be the darlings of the anti crazy section 8 crowd? They might not make it thru their section. There is no other section that has a chance for both titles and secion 8 will do it this year. One loss does not derail the train..

Right as rain SS. The stairway to heaven does not start at the big Schwan's. It starts with takin section 8 which da Spuds will do virtually unopposed. Then its time to get on borad the train to St Paul with a full load of passengers and claim what has been the Holy Grail for da Spuds and their faithful. Well SS, there is no doubt about it. Interesting that you should make note of the fact that the current "A" power took it too one of the proudest and most storied AA champions. Well, we dont want do start that discussion again.....do we?
