Taste of Chaos 3/19

Anyone hardcore enough to go to a rock show? 1 night, some 11 odd bands and total chaos. I figure most of you members are pretty computer nerdy geeks, but who knows, some of those people are the most hardcore of all. DETONES, STORY OF THE YEAR, AS I LAY DYING, ATREYU, Thrice, Thrusday, Silverstein, Dredg, Funeral for a Friend along with a handful of other bands. Roy Wilkins Auditorium, floor is sold out, should be a good time. Anyone else have tickets?

Deftones are SWEET. And that's the point, Starsalum. Rock out, vent some natural life frustration, and have some fun doing it. When else in life do you get to smash into a few people, get smashed into a few times, feel so alive and not to mention get that much exersize without having the cops get involved. Not only that but it's a celebration of life with good, real music. Where else in mainstream music do you hear such positive messeges being sent to the listeners? I don't even know who the JAM is, but I'm always open to new music tastes. Oh yea, yes I am a dork. And it's not the first time I've admitted it. But it's kinda like I'm a dork who's in control of his dorkiness, so I'm actually a pretty decent individual. It's kinda like an insane person knowing they're crazy, so they're really not that far gone.

There were a staple of that genre during that time along with the Sex Pistols and The Clash. Tyler, dont get me wrong, I hate mainstream crap on the radio. I feel so bad for kids who are fed that stuff on kdwb and the like, I just cant sit down and listen to headbanging stuff and enjoy myself. I guess a concert setting would probably make it better.

TOC is a bunch of preteens and high schoolers bopping to screamo music and wearing black. I know because I played on it last year - good times of course, but not exactly my style. The whole post-hardcore thing is the new "it" style even though they all talk about how they hate the popular kids.

Deftones are the only good band on this tour. I listen to a lot of music. I mostly like Alt metal, metal, hardcore, rock, classic rock. Well i guess anything that rocks....however punk is not up my lane. I may go, but I was think about going to Ozzfest this year they screwed us over last year in Sommerset by not having a show after I had tickets for it. Because you listen to a lot of music, these bands all suck? I agree, they do all suck, but that is just my opinion. I know a tie is a lot like kissing your sister, but think of it more like kissing a really hot step-sister.
