Here's more stats for BIAFP: AA Private Schools - 27 visits, 5 Titles, 44-32, 58% win pct. (Hill accounts for about 80% of those stats) A Private Schools - 26 visits, 6 Titles, 43-31, 58% win pct. Good morning slappy. They do resent success dont they? But we have tried to expalin things. You told us long ago that the Catholics were Superior. We learned this year that everything was "Up for Grabs" Even after being locked out and deleted, the Crusaders kept marching to take the Holy City sweeping the Schwans and then the State tournament. But hubbaa is correct and the Crusadrs will remain vigilant.

The point is that with 3 AA Titles in 15 years there's no evidence here of a Vatican monopoly. The cumulative mackeral-snapping, cat-licking experience at the combined state tournament is similar to the top INDIVIDUAL public schools. Why wouldn't it be? The kids at CDH, Hill, AHA, etc. are for the most part bright, disciplined and motivated (and better remain so if I'm gonna keep pumping $$thousands per year in). Lemming went on to play with JR. at the 6th St. rink, but that's as far as it went...

metro's point is well taken...using the last 15 years. But how about the last 5? 15 years ago Centennial didnt exist and SSP was still sending teams to the tournament in AA. So, maybe taking it back 15 years isnt all that valid. I agree that there is no way the Catholics can monopolize the thing. There are too many huge suburban schools out there for that to happen. With schools like Jefferson, Edina ,Roseville, Blaine, and the community of Centennial around, I am sure another huge suburban school will make everybody happy again.

big j, i only come out when neccessary. i do believe the time is now right for a little "outer" crusade of our own. i see some territory that needs a little conquering, particulaly up north towards moorhead. i think we could use a fortress in moorhead to attract a nice core of militant recruits from that territory. word is the good Catholics up there are tired of all the secular choking that continues to plague this vast region. overall i think the whole town could be converted overnight with a little taste of some of this success...
