OK, so I like old school country, Hank Sr., George Jones, Merle Haggard, Johnny Cash, et al and what's called alt-country such as Uncle Tupelo, Jayhawks, Lucinda Williams, Steve Earle, Dwight Yoakam, Ryan Adams, et al. I also like the '80s country-punk sounds of the Beat Farmers and Jason and the Scorchers.<br><br>Much of what I've heard on country radio sounds like watered-down rock to me so I haven't really heard any of the artists you guys are talking about, so I ask, based on my taste, what artists or CDs would be worth checking out? <p></p><i></i>
