I heard the kid from Johnson is able to play now. I think this was handeled well by all partys involved. Hi to everyone who knows the identity of John04.

I agree that its fine time the district the right thing for once. After hearing about the discussion at the board meeting last night, I don't think we'll have to worry about these guys much longer. They have given up hope and we'll all be in a new group next year. WHITE TOWEL

Washburn ---- 5 Richfield ---- 1 SLP/SW ---- 4 Irondale ---- 1 Washburn vs SLP/SW at 5:20 tonight winner plays the loser of the Johnson vs Highland gam. Irondale and Richfiel are eliminated.

Had to miss these games went out of town for a job interview. Were these games closer than the score or were they both one sided?

I just went out of town yesterday after 4 that is why I had to miss these two games.

both games were pretty one sided. Washburn jumped out to a quick 4-0 lead, before Richfield scored near the end of the second. It was 5-1 going into the 3rd. Southwest lead 2-0 after two, but the score was all that was close. SW/SLP pretty much dominated most of the play, Irondale didn't really get any scoring chances. This was a VERY physical game. Irondale had 2 players w/ Game Misconducts, and two 5 min majors. Including the 10 minute penalties Irondale had 66 penalty minutes (frustration). This is NOT like Irondale as they are normally a clean hockey team. Southwest had their share of penalties also, with 14 minutes. The offcials sure earned their check. By the 3rd period, EVERYthing was a penalty, with 10 penalties called in the 3rd alone.

To go to the 2nd Place game SW/SLP - 7 Washburn - 0 Championship Highland - 7 Johnson - 2 (with about 6 mins to go in the game)

SW/SLP played the best game of the season and Johnson played the worst they have played all season. Should be a good game I hope the refs don't decide this one!!!! TC dist has a habit of sending the worst refs in this situation. I bet they send the TC ref in chief which is probably in the bottom five in the District. I seen the thread where the Johnson coach is to old look at the ref in chief. Time to clean house and get younger people in.

People probably dislike Johnson because they were so successful in the past just like my Hibbing team. This will be my last post because that job I interviewed for the other day worked out and I am moving back up to Hibbing to drive at the mines. I think people dislike us because in the past we played smashmouth hockey, I think in the last couple of years you have seen us change. No we don't cheat which I have heard a few people say I don't know how you can cheat in hockey.

Well in the past Johnson has always competed, every game. I dont see that anymore. Cheating in hockey isnt easy or right. But im sorry to say there have been teams in the past that have had kids playing only because they lied about there age. I know this for a fact.
