SLP/SW should be worried about all the D3 teams. They think the TC is there ticket to fame.

The top 3 are good right where they are..the 4-10 spots will shift all year. My guess is Maple Grove, Eden Prarie, perhaps Orono if they keep playing well will move up in the rankings every week. Chaska has have 5 players that can play and thats it, but still a good team.

Maple Grove 7
Orono 5

Great game, Oronos 5th goal was very questonable, but a good team, very fast and big. Maple Grove I believe hit 6 or 7 posts, McCmahon didnt have his best game either.

Maple Grove 7 (empty netter)
Orono 5

Very fun game to watch. Orono werent themselves the first two periods but played well in the 3rd. Maple Groves defence shut down oronos top players, they could never get into their usual rythme. Maple Grove very solid team and very very strong defence. Orono goalie also didnt play to his capability, he had a rough night. Maple Grove scored to take the lead 6-5 with about 1:30 left and followed quickly with an empty netter. But overall the teams look pretty equal and if they both play to their capability it will be a very very good game. Cant wait to go watch the next one...

Yes, it was all Orono in the 3rd period. Maple Grove dominated the 1st and 2nd period, but Maple Grove just fell apart in the 3rd period, Maple Grove took some stupid penelties in the 3rd to help Orono make a great comeback. Orono's 4/5 goals were tips of point shots i believe, the last one was a scramble in front of the net. Bounces went Oronos way on those, but Maple Grove couldnt capitolize on there shots. It would have been nice if MG's 1st line could have skated together besides on the powerplay tonight, could have had more goals, but Orono was mixing up lines as well, so it could have been the same case for them to.

Coach Gris never left room for a tie in his pious predictions. Does that turn emerald green into a shade more olive?

I am very impressed with this group of kid's and their record's. Can't say that I know of any team to match. I also get a kick out of the tag along's.

Edited by: <A HREF=http://p100.ezboard.com/bmnhs.showUserP ... joshdog at: 11/23/05 11:33 pm
