Yes Webb is from Edina. Do you guys think that he would be better off in Edina or at SSM?

SSM

I was also going to say the Shattuck goalie, but I wasn't sure which one. We only played them in tryouts, but he was solid.

Justin Farrell from New Jersey. He's a 91. His numbers aren't quite as good as Webb's, but they're decent. There arent' any 90s on the Tier I team... all 91s with only two 92s. I found this information on S-SM's website.

One of the top Bantam Goalies is McMahon from Orono. No question. When he's on, he's top 3.

All the Shattuck players are registered in the Minnkota District. When the season is over for USA Hockey (April 2) I believe those players who play for Shattuck try out for the districts in which they permanently reside. Am I correct in saying this, does anyone know for sure?

Adding onto first years... Michael Young from Edina is really good when he is on. Mac Carruth is also good from Minnetonka, but since he plays behind a poor team the numbers that he has may not seem like he is good.

What I'm trying to say is, I believe that USA hockey recognizes where a players permanent residence is even though he/she is registered out of district. Meaning, that if a player is registered in Minnkota during the season, but resides in NJ that player tries’s out for the district in which he resides (in this case Atlantic). I think that was the case for a Shattuck player last year in St. Cloud, in the same jurisdictions so if correct this would hold true for Farrel as well.
I hope I'm making sense here.
Can anyone clarify?

icantstopthepuck, quit worrying about who is all going to be around for advanced 15 tryouts for District 4. Keep working hard and you might have a chance although if you cantstopthepuck, start playing soccer.

First Year additions

92 Fire have a strong tandem in Thayer and Wilcox, both first year kids from Minnesota. Also whatever happened to Edina kid named Ankeny. He was on the 92 Blades a couple of years ago and was solid.

He quit for a few years and took hockey back up this year. He is playing JV at Benilde-St. Margaret's.

I have played with Thayer from the Fire in the summer. He is a good goalie. Small but very flexible. One of the better 92 goalies for sure.

Soup3 I agree Thayer is small but he's really agressive to play against. He plays huge. So is Oshea from Eastview he can be a game changer. Ankeny was something special, good to hear hes back in the game.
