Best 8th grader in the state doesn't play Bantam A. He is playing Varsity for St. Cloud Cathedral High School.

Nate Schmidt

Post by 2AhockeyOldTimer »

Names other than Nate Schmidt don't exist on my list. He's playing VERY well at the high school level. He has great size to go along with his great skills, thats something not too many 8th graders can brag about. Also, the hardest shot I've ever seen from an 8th grader.

"2A You are a true Cidiot" - IronRanger4ever

Tony Villanueve out of WBL is very, very good for an 8th grader. Quite the head case, but very good. He isnt Schmidt but he is good.

One of the better goalies would have to be Rick Cotter who split time on Princeton High School team this year

Rick Cotter... I recognize the name. I think I went to International camp with him like 2 years ago, he was on the bunk under me.

could be sorry i have no idea he would have made some noise in the Bantam league along with Schmidt who is one heck of a player to but Rick had to skip Bantams and than he ended up splitting Varsity time not bad for an 8th grade goalie
