one of my three children have been playing at superseries for the past three years and will be again this year. this tourney is in no way shape or form an elite tourney. the kids get to go their make new freindships refresh others and have fun..if the teams from their with the exception of the south in the 95 level played in any big triple a tourney in minnesota they would get killed. the teams are made up of kids mostly local kids to the coach of the team..the northern teams depending on the coach will mostly be from the range or if the coach is from way up north the team will be mostly section 16. I will also have one son for the first time playing in the selects tourney which is where i would like to see all my kids play for the simple fact my money wont go to the blades. the only reason i even let my kid go is he likes to see his buddies from other teams.for super series that is.the bright spot in these tourneys are the freindships formed.. if my kids one day have hockey players they will goto games out of town and know some of the parents because they may have played hockey together on some of these teams. thats another example of why these teams are not of elite caliber they ask the same kids every year from mites up.

i think that teams that you are asked to be ondont always have all the quality players playing in them i think that the best teams and organizations are the ones that have tryouts
