Is the Irondale team on the Saint Paul side. Who has the best goalie on the St. Paul side?

If you go based on which side of the River - then yes - Irondale is on the St. Paul side of the River. Plus that is the only way to have 3 teams on each side.

Peewee All-Star Game

Post by topshelf11 »

I played in this game twice and I think that Irondale is on the Mpls. side. I am completely sure because I played in this three or fours years ago and Irondale was still in District 2. I think Irondale kids should be on the Mpls. side too because I remember Mpls. getting beat up both times I played, but I got to say this a really sweet game and a lot of fun.

As far as the best east side goalie goes, i would have to say that the 2 goalies from highland and the taller goalie from irondale have to be considered. i also put irondale on the east side as the play in shoreview, and to me that is definitely east side.
the teams probably fall like so: i can only give some of the players numbers without my score sheets.
east side
irondale 2 players
highland central 7 players
johnson 6 players (5, 6, 10, 15, 16, 22)
west side
richfield 2 players
sw/slp 7 players (10, 14, 17, 19, 8, 18, 11)
washburn 5 players (14, 6)
as far as goalies go, the east side is discussed above and the west side would have to be 1 of the 2 sw/slp goalies, and the washburn goalie.

they have a defenseman that is a really good skater. i think it might be number 14. and there is a forward that is good too. sadly, i don't have his number. slpcoach has the right numbers...

Edited by: <A HREF=http://p100.ezboard.com/bmnhs.showUserP ... rscoach at: 2/18/06 7:36 pm

My son has already been contacted about playing for the St. Paul team (irondale). There is one practice and the game, the week after the Peewee A state tournament final. The game itself is played at Edison and the coach for the St. Paul side is the Johnson peewee a coach.

Edited by: <A HREF=http://p100.ezboard.com/bmnhs.showUserP ... eymom69 at: 2/23/06 11:41 am

The game is scheduled for Sunday March 19th starting around 12:00 at Edison arena. The coaches of the teams have not yet offically been notified. The format for the game is also not officially decided at this point until the coaches are notified and discussion takes place.

The theme for the jerseys this year will be USA Olympic style home and away. Each team will have practice ice the week of March 13th at Edison.
