TOP Bantam B1 teams

Come to watch 6 of your games, come on. My sons plays for EP, and a couple kids went to your last game, to watch it. It made a difference in the district standings, not to scout your team. The only other time they have been at one of your games is when you played before us at Braemar, they didn't come to scout you.

glowstick, were you the only team on the ice? Maybe they were there to watch one of the other D6 teams? What exactly do you think they would pick up on that they haven't seen in the three times they had played you? Which game did they come watch? Your loss to Minnetonka? Hmmm, funny, they play Tonka tonight. Maybe they were there to watch the Skippers since Tonka gave them fits last time they played. Perhaps you should spend more time watching your game opponent than watching what the kids in the stands are doing.

Kudos to EP for coming to "watch" some of your games. They league title was coming down to EP vs. Edina White. Edina White lost their lost regular season game to Tonka which hurt White's chances. Now EP knows what they need to do to win the D6 title. Winning the D6 regular season title earns the automatic bid to the regionals.

I will definitely be there for the EP/Mtka rematch. I love watching games at Pagel where I can hover over the benches and listen to the different coaching styles. Will have to get there early to see the Hornet BAs. They are fun to watch and I think Callahan is the most underrated A goalie around. Goalies on strong teams don't always get the recognition they should. Oh crud, I am talking Bantam A in a Bantam B thread. I hope noone tells twinswin57. He might call me names again. Boo Hoo.

Sorry to report to glowstick that I will not be scouting your White team tomorrow against Wayzata Blue. June Carter Cash and I will be busy with Holy Family. Although . . . IF we beat Minnetonka tonight, maybe I will let my assistants coach that, so I can come watch you . . . I mean Wayzata. C'mon guys, seriously. My only fault is my impatience in finding out the results. I go to a lot of games for the last 5 minutes, just to see the final scoreboard so I know. I'm OCD. Sue me . . . or, rather, A Boy Named Sue Me. (Another Johnny Cash reference for those young ones out there.) And to MNHockeyEavesdropper . . . sorry if we disappoint you listening pleasure tonight. We don't really have a lot of secrets on our bench. Cover your man and shoot the puck. There's our game plan. Enjoy!

So here I come sneaking about the ol B bantam thread and I laugh for 20 minutes. If guys are gonna rip somebody for driving 10 minutes to watch some hockey you need to leave this board. We are all complete and total hockey RUBES. Nothing wrong with getting off your formerly big butt and watching some competition. I'd be happy to hear my kids wanted to go watch some other district teams. Eagleguy keep rockin em till they "hurt" and some day you can sing your "redemption song". Sorry all I know is the new school johny covers.

S'ok, CoachGuy, some of us still sneak around the old stomping grounds of the JG board, too. You are always welcome on Boards all around town. "You love me. you really love me!" SS33 - The Whites didn't help themselves with that performance against TonkaTown, but I am sure they are prepping themselves and licking their chops for the District Playoff rematch . . .es. And those Eagles better not be Sailing out of Skipperville too soon or the Pagelites will be keeping their points and the Eagles will have to wait 24 to get 'er done. EG91: Hope your boys make them "walk the line" tonight. You're on the hotseat. Guess your bench will be the "Ring of Fire" tonight. GL!

So, I'm trying to earn a living and I get a phone call . . . they're talking about you . . . and who's CoachGuy? CG - long time no chat. Hope the season is well. I seem to be a big bright shining star around here today. Not sure why. Something about my singing, I guess. And my love of black. It's very slimming. Maybe it's all an optical illusion. Nope, that's not it. (That's all going real well, by the way.) I believe there are some beverages I owe you someday, too, am I right? To all my adoring fans . . . :-P No, I'm kidding. I love the banter back and forth. As for "The Whites" (MNHO-yer not a racist, are you?) they seem to play a little better and a little differently each time they play us. I EXPECT some strong performances out of them in the playoffs. That's what competitive nature is all about. We are not going to roll over to make them feel good. We'll go out there and give it our best effort. Much like we will tonight against the Skippers. And don't bag our D6 title just yet. A couple injuries, some soft goals and I just might snap on the bench and start throwing water bottles. There goes the fair play points and the D6 title. RinkRat22 would probably forfeit the last three, just to get the FP pts. No such luck here. Think they'll throw me out if I break my guitar over the dasher? slapshot, I'm sure Edina is frustrated, but I hardly feel their verbal victim. They could have as many as 4 more chances against us and all of those in games/tournaments that actually matter. We need to be on our guard and our game. Oh, and we need to cover our man and shoot the puck. It really is a simple game when you think about it. Anyone besides my ex-girlfriend want to start ripping me now for watching every upcoming D6 playoff game? FYI - The Walk The Line Tour is coming to DTC, D2, D3, D8 and D10, too. Eagle, yes beverages should be consumed, and for your info we will be hanging out late night thursday in the newhope area. Seems we have a little showdown with a team from Orono. I'll tell ya about my sympathy weight ive put on, if you can read into that one.

next time Edina white plays EP, EP will see a different goalie. Edina has two good goalies but edinas Meeker has played all 4 times vs EP. Im sure Edina and EP will meet in district playoffs and it will be another good game.

EP-EDINA......Edina does have too good goalies but EP has only seen one. their other Goalie (Graves) will probly play if they meet again and has a better goals againts avg. and save % He hits too

Edina plays Wyzata Blue tomorrow night and if Edina doesnt take a period off they will hopefully win. Glowstick i think u know.

edina bb1 green plays wayzata on saturday. they lost to them last game. close game. wayzata won in 2 or 3 ot's 2-1 in the edina tourney . it will be a close game we'll see who comes out on top... any predictions?
