LOL what a final. The bottom half of the state tourney was way better than the top half. DE WAY CENT would have had a prettty good chance of coming through the top half of the brackets with ease.

Are you only looking at the score? Shots were one different. Chaska had one go over the Wayzata goalie, hit the cross bar and land on top, one disallowed by a whistle as it was hit in, and one that hit the right pipe, go behind the goalie, hit the left pipe and came out. Yes there were some soft goals, but it wasn't as bad as the score.

If you are right about the shots....I think the game was alot more lopsided than the shots indicated. It may not have been an 8-2 game but Wayzata was certainly the much better team.

Duluth East was ahead of Moorhead 3-0 at one point...not sure about the final.

There's no doubt that wayzata should have won. They dominated the game from start to finish. They deserve it. What has Chaska done all season? NOTHING!!! Wayzata's record finished at 49-5-0. That is a true dream season. One that these boys will probably never experience again. There are a bunch of teams that deserved to be in that championship over chaska. To name a few: Centennial, Duluth East, Eden Prairie and Edina Green. They all would have given Wayzata a much better game.

Congats to all the teams and volunteers for a great tournament. Everyone played hard and earned their way through the tournament, and can now look forward to next season.

Thanks for listening to me vent, and for the few that had me post on my user name..... Our team had a great run this year, it was exciting regardless of the games and their outcomes. We are proud of our team, and will continue to support them in the future.
