H = Osseo

East
A = Tartan

I am just throwing out a name in the North region. Grand Rapids might have just as good of a chance of moving on as Brainerd.

North
A = GR. - Out of gas after a long weekend at the VFW
B = Bemidji - Haven't seen them in a while heard playing well
C = Brainerd - Team D and goaltending propel them to the tourney
D = Hibbing - honostly over achieved to get here.

E = Roseau - has a region meltdown
F = Virginia - Good team. Don't be surprised when they're in Alex
G = Moorhead - Take a year off boys
H = EGF - has come out of nowhere and will go back there

West
A = Wayzata - Can't overcome D6 dominance
B = Mound/Westonka - Regions is a treat for them
C = Edina - Will have to wait for State tourney to get EP rematch
D = Jefferson - Too bad only two teams get out.

E = Sartell - I would assume just happy to be here
F = Hopkins - will battle Osseo for a chance to lose to Edina
G = Eden Prairie - the State Champs have to start somewhere
H = Osseo - will lose to Edina on Sunday

East
A = Tartan - Goaltending will get them to Sunday
B = Blaine - Depends what team shows up
C = Hermantown - lost their shot when top D went down with collar bone
D = Elk River - Either them or Blaine

E = Centennial - Finishes first in Bracket
F = Stillwater - Youth tends to have problems in a playoff chase
G = Duluth East - Continues to roll after big VFW run
H = Cloquet - 0 - 3 in Bracket

South
A = Faribault - Just out match at this region
B = Como - Hope they enjoyed their year
C = Rochester - Glad they won't have to face the Bears to get out
D = White Bear - Year after year they find a way to get it done

E = Highland Central - Enjoy the region tourney
F = Owatonna - Will compete
G = Lakeville South - Lake of competition in pool play bites them in final
H = Eagan - Eagan will give Rochester a battle Sunday, but too little.

If I am right, it will be one of the best State Tourney Fields I've ever seen.

Not sure who plays who but

Brainerd
Duluth East
Edina
Rochester
Centennial
Eden Praire
White Bear Lake
Virgina

However, truth be told, the State Tourney probably looks nothing like this....hehehehe...isn't speculation fun

They will compete, I imagine that everyone who has gotten this far will at least show up and give what they have. whether or not they get beat 3 straight, or win 3 straight I don't think really matters. I just think they, like everyone will give their best.

it isn't gonna be Tartan. Outscored 11-4 in three games. Finally saw tough competition.

dangla8,
owatonna has always been a great playoff team and even managed to get to the state tourney last year.. now i realize that things have gotten tougher over the past year and that they switched the regionals up a bit but i dont think that they will be the worst team in this tourney. highland is an overrated, beatable team that they could easily upset just like a couple other teams they upset in the district tourney they should be fun to watch
