Both Grand Rapids and Roseau have tough matchups in their first Rd games in Moorhead.

GR Vs Maple Grove
Roseau VS Anoka

Not saying they both won't win their first games, but MG & Anoka are no slouch teams.
There should be some VERY good games in Moorhead this upcoming weekend.

(I, personally, plan on spending A LOT of time at the Moorhead Youth Arena this weekend)

Where o where is Elliot? Thought he'd have something to say on the subject of this past weekend's game. Being such a supporter of D16 teams, I finally get to rib him a little about my hometown orange and black.

EVEN A BLIND SQUIRREL FINDS A NUT ONCE IN A WHILE!
:D

Roseau must have been wore out; after playing Hibbing, Bemidji and Int'l. Falls I am surprised they could still shoot the puck.

Blah, Blah, Blah ! Roseau was on their second game of the day, same as GR, although I'll give you the fact that GR was at home. I don't believe we saw the true Roseau team, just as we did not see the true GR team. Sounds like a rematch is in order next weekend. We'll see. Best of luck boys. If it's not GR this season, I do hope it's Roseau taking home the hardware.
