Well that's just mean...
mean....maybe, but its the truth, man did he suck at state last year, also i only see a strong d thats holding cathedral in it, as for h-town, well ben is goin 2 actually hav 2 play good, no more shaky goaltending like the last couple games, and krause and huttle is goin 2 hav 2 crank it up another level,

hawks get the nod and are headed back 2 state

I'm sure Goldy would jump in and save you. Otherwise the MAC would never be the same.
If I jumped in and didn't make it the MAC would be out its two hardest working employees. We just can't have that.
I always thought teko11 was the hardest worker at the MAC.

Good to hear that another Central Minnesota team will be heading to the X again this year. Good luck to St. Cloud Cathedral they are well deserving.

"Big Dave" our Cloquet zamboni driver had an extra large pileup of snow and kind of got stuck.. then spun the tires and burned a bit of a rut that the referees had to patch b4 the third period.

Two of SCC's goals were definitely weak but a couple were really nice also. SCC's speed killed Hermantown big time, their defense got turned around many times.

Maybe Big Dave needs to be replaced. That is unacceptable during a final section game.

Listening to the radio, it was mechanical.

Congrats to SCC.

Talk about a statement game. Was Tessier off, or did the Crusaders bring it?

Year after year hermantown is always ranked high because they win a lot of games, i feel that they play a couple good teams and a lot of bad ones... so in my mind i feel that they are overrated. If they play a tough schedule it would prepare them better for playoffs.

SCC ruled the day.
Maybe now they'll get some well deserved respect.
I'd give 'em a number 3 slot at the Tourney.

Cathedral absolutely owned that game other than for 5 minutes in the second period after Hermantown scored. Hermantown's goalie did not play well, but he is lucky cathedral didn't capitalize on a lot of opportunities where they either missed the net or missed on short passes in front of the net...the score could have very easily been 8 or 9 to 1. This 5-1 win was definately a statement going into the state tournament and cathedral has as good of chance as any team to win it this year. Shots make the game look closer than it was 28-24 in shots in favor of cathedral but Hermantown's shtos were all from out high.

I wouldn't say that Cathedral absolutely owned the game. In my opinion, Hermantown carried the play for the majority of the 3rd period, but by then it was too late. Those D for Cathedral are GOOD. That was the 1st time I'd seen them play. They just out-muscled Hermantown's forwards all night, and made quite a few nice outlet passes. And Hermantown is lucky that the score wasn't more. Cathedral shot quite a few right in Tessier's gut and chest. I think he's looked kind of off since the Marshall game. I predict that these two teams will meet again next year in the 5A finals. I don't know what Cathedral loses, but Hermantown loses some key forwards, a D, and Tessier. But they return a ton of juniors, some good sophomores off the JV, and some solid players off the Bantam A's. Congrats to Hermantown on an excellent season, and good luck to SCC at the X.

Hermantown sure tried the "cheap it up" at the end of the game taking runs at Cathedral, and cam off as an unclassy team for a decent team....wow did Schmitt put some punishment on a few Hawks last night....ouch.
