Section 5A Championship: [2] Hermantown vs [1] St. Cloud C.

Post by HSH1212 »

The 5A championship game occurs on Wednesday, March 4 at the Cloquet Ice Arena. The previous meeting between Hermantown and Cathedral was a 2-1 win by St. Cloud in St. Cloud. I am predicting a big game by the Hawks and an upset, as the Hawks charge to the X.

My Prediction:
Hermantown: 5
St. Cloud Cathedral: 2

2 ways Hermantown scores 5 goals on Cathedral
NO WAY and NO FREAKIN' WAY

4-2 SCC in this one. Hermantown does not have the horses to ride past SCC's "D"
don't even say anything about Sauk Rapids scoring 4 times in the semi's
SCC played everyone, played 7 different D-men and their top 2 D saw essentially no time in the third period.

I am gonna agree with the barn burner. But it will be
4-3 Hawks
Krause with 2, Huttel with 1, and shristopherson with 1.
Nate schmidt with 3!

This will be a very exciting game as both teams have very good squads. SCC is still my pick to win the state championship and I'm sticking with them.

Does anyone know what time they will start selling tickets? Or letting people into the building? Last years final had a huge crowd and I would expect another one. Should be a great game.

Hermantown 2

George Blanda jumps into the St. Louis River after the game, and is never heard from again.

What a moron!!! 22-2-1 with only one kid on roster!!! You disrespect a lot of talented hockey players.
Take a close look and you'll see a powerful 1st and 2nd line, lot's of depth at forward, and probably a combination of THREE defenders that most teams in the State ( A and AA) would have a hard time matching up with, OH YEH, and they also have Schmidt !!!

The game will be on ESPN Radio 560AM WEBC out of Duluth. They do and will be streaming the feed on the internet.

I don't recall the exact address of the feed off the top of my head, but there is a link to the feed on www.prephockeynorth.com in the "What's On" section. Use the "WEB" section (not the radio) to get the link to the feed.

I'm sure Goldy would jump in and save you. Otherwise the MAC would never be the same.

If I jumped in and didn't make it the MAC would be out its two hardest working employees. We just can't have that.
