Very fun game to watch. I was feeling a little down after the 2nd but the comeback made this a wonderful game. Munson's goal on the power play to start the scoring for the period was a shot from close in kind of like zach Parise when he is behind the goal line on the PP and jams at it from close in. Munson seemed to catch the goalie cheating a little bit and found some space.
Nanne's goal came from a relentless forecheck and good puck movement where he took a shot from the top off the left circle that found its way in.
The Malmquist goal to tie it was a dump and chase play where bellows came up with it on the right side of the goal behind the goal line and looked like he would circle it up toward the boards to go out front but as he turned his hands went the opposite way to do a behind the back pass to malmquist who onetimed it right in the slot.

Burnsville had a couple of good chances in the period and probably none better than the scramble in front at the end of the period. I did not hear who put it in, I think Borchardt again but the ref gave a early whistle no doubt. I thought It should have counted. Rohkohl was laying on the puck as it was for sure out of the view of the ref but he probably was a bit quick on the whistle.
Burnsville only had 5 shots in the final frame as Edina did a good job bottling them up but they hurt themselves a little by taking a couple of penalties and playing a little sloppy. I think edina finally started to wear them down and once they got that first goal they caught life.
Edina had 7 shots in the first where Bville was the better team but after that they had 33 shots in the final 2 periods including 20 in the second.
They ended with 41 shots compared to Bville's 26

The final goal was quick, only 40 seconds into overtime. Munson had a good chance prior and forced a defensemen to take the net out. They set up at the dot and edina won the draw and had some guys go to the net, munson went hard and fidler got the puck and put it into a pretty open net. I Kind of missed this goal so sorry for the unclear summary on it. It seemed as though the goalie was out of position a little bit though and that helped lead to the fidler goal.
After the goal there was a little scrum with munson of edina and a few burnsville players and after a hard hitting intense game like this im not surprised. This will make it interesting when these teams meet again in Burnsville on the 2nd.

Tyler Nanne is a damn good hockey player. He has improved a lot over the last year and a half. I think of all Louie's grand kids, he will turn out to be the best player. (Better than his brother, and I do think he will end up being better than Vinni too).
