Gleason setting a good example by not leaving early, and also doing Elite League instead of before and after.
Also heard he is coaching kiddos this summer.

I meant ‘before’.
Suppose he could do ‘after’

Re: Transfers for 2019-20 season
Gleason is fun to watch. He will also (most likely) be playing a year of Juniors after graduation. Players doing before & after (Biondi in particular) will be playing on their committed D1 team immediately after graduation, hence the reason for playing USHL this Fall (as opposed to Elite League).muckandgrinder65 wrote: ↑Sat Aug 24, 2019 6:46 pm Gleason setting a good example by not leaving early, and also doing Elite League instead of before and after.

Thanks for the info Westy.
Does that mean Kaiser is going to UMD versus Dubuque USHL right after Andover wins the AA state tourney

Owen Gallatin from NTDP is too young to come in for 20-21, Connor Kelley from NTDP will likely come in 20-21. I think Kaiser will likely play USHL in 20-21 (even if he’s doing before & after this year) Big (NHL drafted) Will Francis from Centennial will come in 20-21 too.muckandgrinder65 wrote: ↑Sun Aug 25, 2019 6:08 pm Thanks for the info Westy.

Re: Transfers for 2019-20 season
Rumor mill says EP player (who hasn't played HS yet) won't be at EP when season starts... probably not ever... then again... maybe a rumor.
Re: Transfers for 2019-20 season
59- agree with your thoughts on UMD D men timing . As usual . Will be very interested to see how OG progresses this year .
Re: Transfers for 2019-20 season
Nobody will be able to adequately fill the shoes of #7 when he signs with the Blues come March/April 2020, but OG will hopefully be in that mold when he eventually arrives on campus...
Re: Transfers for 2019-20 season
Agree on Peruni , wont see another one like him
for quite a while .
OG will have to make some quantum leaps this year and next , hoping we will see him this fall in metro at new hope and super rink .
Let’s not forget Pierce .Told he will be on the Blue line for Htown this year . Probably his natural position fir the Dogs someday as well. (Probably sooner rather than later ) The Kids wrister from the point the summer after 8th grade was as strong as most seniors !
Re: Transfers for 2019-20 season
Agree WM on Pierce, to me he’s always been a D playing forward, I’m pleased to hear he will be playing D for Hermantown. Question is if tUMD has room for him down the road with so many quality D already in the pipeline, hopefully they do & he eventually follows Biondi to Duluth.WestMetro wrote: ↑Mon Aug 26, 2019 4:42 pmAgree on Peruni , wont see another one like him

Puck , I reconfirmed as best I could tonight that Langenbrunner, Busby , Steeves, and Blake are all locked in. Although, as always , any Forum input to the contrary , or other player insight, is always appreciated
Re: Transfers for 2019-20 season
Like I said may be just a rumor, but hearing multiple sources saying same.... guess it's not for sure... until it's for sure...=)
Re: Transfers for 2019-20 season
I hope they all arrive and they fall flat on their face. That's a gross # of transfers for a school with that high of an enrollment.
Re: Transfers for 2019-20 season
Yep, that’s the only consolation with player movement. It gives you teams to root against and makes it so much sweeter when they lose. Especially in Class A.

I wonder if Jaimie will be an assistant coach when he can to help out?

Have a feeling if they were smart they would stay away from that... didn't work well for CEC... in my opinion, to hot headed for youth sports... at least from all my interactions and those around me who know him.

Am I the only one who thinks Blake is way, way, way, way over-rated, and too slight for varsity hockey?
