Don't hate STA. I wouldn't want to lose either.

haha too funny, especially considering cascade is advertising on channel 45. Cascade is nothing more than a fraud who feeds off of others fears, tests have proven that this helmet does nothing to prevent concussions.

It put a laceration on my wiener when I set it on my lap. I swear it bites! It finished the job though.

Well, another 3 stitches to my son's forehead! Crappy helmets with a major defect. I for one hope that the helmet goes bye bye real soon.

Sorry to hear that. You might want to get him a new helmet; the cuts will only continue and may worsen your sons skin tissue if the cuts are in the same spot.

I am glad someone brought this topic back to life. At the Expo this year, I asked a M11 rep about this common problem. He of course deflected my question with ignorance... "I have never heard of that before?"

Yeah, ok buddy....

I'd love to get rid of the helmet, but unfortunately, they provide these helmets to my son's junior team and they all have to wear them. Next year, however, I'm going to speak up (my son agrees) -- say "NO" to the M11 helmet! (Apparently, when he left the ice to get stitched, he was spewing some choice words about the helmet.)

I'm sure if you were to get him a helmet in the same color and explain why he would be wearing a different they would have no problem with it.

They allow players to do this on lots of teams with matching uniform stuff.

3 cuts during the season and one broke and had to be replaced.

I know of two kids getting their ears cut really bad by these helmets. One was a jv hillmurray player who had his ear cut in half and one was a stillwater peewee player that had to have surgery on his ear. I really wonder if this helmet is really that good.

Not impressed with helmet. Clean up the hits could make the greatest difference.

It will be easier to develop a quality helmet than it will to hope that all hits in hockey from now on are 100% clean.

Would need a woodpecker head to prevent concussion. It is the movement of the brain that is the overridding issue. Do not believe any helmet will stop brain from moving.

WebMD "A concussion is a brain injury that is caused by a sudden blow to the head or to the body. The blow shakes the brain inside the skull, which temporarily prevents the brain from working normally."
