i think that all the equipment that bauer made was of better quality and performance than that of nike bauer. All the things that bauer used to make before nike bought them was a lot better, like the vapor xxx. i used to like bauer but eversince nike bought it out i dislike the brand.
does anyone here like nike bauer more than the old Bauer?

but looks dont mean anything
like i mite have a stick from 1920 and u might have the newest stick out that cost 400$(example rbk 9K O) but if i can snipe the goalie every time and you miss the net every time it really doesnt matter wat kind of gear you have longest as you can work with it
like i always hear this curve sucks when kids get new sticks and how bad does the curve suck if he shoots better then you ya my point is it doesnt matter

NikeBauer XXXX and other expensive gear
I posted this below, but here it is again, with a few changes...
Nike is one of the best marketing companies in the world. Just like the auto makers, they bring out new models every year. But that doesn't mean their new models are always the best available, only the most expensive. It also means last year's hot model will soon be available at a significant discount. What is best is a case of personal preference. Expensive equipment like $600 skates or a $400 stick isn't going to make a B player into an A player - only hard work and talent can do that.
I have not seen the new XXXX. I think the Supreme One90s are way too stiff and way too expensive (as are they XXXs) Besides, these super stiff skates are probably too stiff for most youth players (except the few that are over 200 pounds). The most important factor in skates is fit. I prefer an old-fashioned sewn boot to the newer foam injected boots (like the Vapor or Vector lines). I have a pair of Bauer 6000s and a pair of Mission S500s. The 500s were "top of the line" a couple of years ago at $400+ and have recently been on sale at Hockeygiant for $100. So, save some money and avoid buying this year's hot fad skate.

Vapor XXXX
The One 90s are lighter than the Vapor XXXXs by 50 grams.
