Congrats to Park on a big win! But sorry to say Warroad is not Crox. Park gave up 3 goals to an anemic Crox offense. So if you give up 3 to Crox then you will give up 6 to Warroad. on the defensive side They are big strong and can skate. Lerke is a fine player but will not have his way with the strong defensman from Warroad. Warroad will do some serious banging of body's.

I think you've been spending too much time at the brewery. Park already got their unlikely win for the playoffs. I don't care where they were seeded, they were the underdog last night. It would be a miracle for them to beat Warroad, much less two miracle wins in a row to make the tourny...not gonna happen, sorry guy.

I have seen both teams play a number of times this season now. Warroad is obviously the favorite but i think that PR's defensemen are fairly solid and will do ok against Warroad's offense. They'll have to because Warroad has more weapons up front. As for Lehrke not having his way with the warrior defensemen................ don't count on it, SB24 is not giving enough credit where it is due, his performance last night was one of the best i've seen in a HS game, SB says "Playoffs are a whole different type of game", which is true, he say's throw the seeds out, PR was still the underdog  ok fine, the kid still single handedly dominated that game. Will he be able to do that to Warroad, not likley but then again he could.

It'll be an interesting matchup reguardless.

I am sure Warroad's forwards can outplay PR's defensemen with ease. I would have to agree with most everything SB24 is saying. Warroad knows that Lehrke is a powerfull weapon, they will deal with him accordingly. Warroad will prevail in this one sending park rapid's planning their revenge for next season.

Hey Mullet Head, read my posts, i gave Lehrke all the credit he had due. I said he played a great game, was that not correct? But on the other hand, i can see how he will be shut down against the Warriors. When you have a team set up like PR you can easily afford to put two or even three players on him (ala TRF earlier this year). They just don't have the big guns behind him to make teams pay for putting so much man power on one guy. And for those of you still thinking that Marvin won't be able to catch Lehrke, maybe you should go back and watch a recording of the Warroad v Roseau game that was on tv. It was pretty plain and simple, Marvin is one of the fastest guys on the ice...

Warroad looked terrible against Hallock. As far as one man teams Warroad is just as much a one man team as Park is. Park outplayed Crookston the whole game and fell apart after the phantom kick in goal. My prediction

Warroad 4
Park Rapids 2

Although it wouldn't surprise me to see it the other way around. Warroad has to put forth a better effort.

We arnt playing the the "hot" ralph. Its a whole other now thats its not in TRF. Its hard to compare any game played in that rink or for a team. I have played there a few times and its just not the same if you arnt used to that temp of play. On the other hand Warroad is a strong team and can lay with most teams out there. I do think that Lehrke will be a big factor for Warroad and Marvin will be a big factor for pr. I can say that Marvin is big and strong and can power through defensemen. I was not impressed how he played when i watched but i could tlel he was strong. His shots were average but his attacks were good. He just couldnt finish what he was doing like lehrke did against a BETTER Crookston team. What I hear about Warroads strong D when Kittson did have some decent scoring chances IF they would have just shot the puck. Good luck to both teams on saturday. I think all us forumers should sit be each other and take expert analysis of the game haha only kidding.. :D and other thing...PR's Defense is quite strong. Cant wait till next year PR will be a tough team to beat.....the whole first line isnt going to graduate and most of the team is coming back...but thats a whole different subject....
