Hmm....I think you mean "the WARROAD goalie" since this is a warroad/AL thread....

Clearly you haven't seen Albert Lea play.

Laugh out loud now, then read this post again at about 10:00 Wednesday night.

I say again.........Bob, have you seen Albert Lea play? Granted you spend all day long in front of a computer and they play their homegames right next to Iowa, but you may be surprised.

I'd be surprised if the Warriors didn't beat them by at least that!

Well I haven't seen Albert Lea play this year, but I have seen Warroad play. The "Roseau goalie" is not that good, but a lot better than what came through the system over the years in Warroad. A good pick-up on their part because without him they wouldn't be playing next week. I'm yet to see Marvin play the way I know he can. Casanova is a good goalie for Albert Lea, I expect him to stand tall.

Warroad - 4
Albert Lea - 3

How can we expect anybody from GR and the surrounding area (or for that matter the rest of "great" northern minnesota) to know anything about (or care about) southern Minnesota teams?

The AL team is very good...and much improved in the last half of the season, which is the right time.

Let Warroad be smug and confident...if they let down at all, AL will not look back.

They crushed both teams in their section that eveybody seemed to be touting (MW and NU), and I mean CRUSHED !!! No contest, end of story, etc...and they were not cheap/unsportsmanlike about it. Just workmanlike destruction of their compettion.

Bottom line---------AL 3---Warroad 2

Johnny, I think he is talking about the kid from Roseau who got cut and now is the starting goalie for Warroad.

No, I haven't seen them anywhere other "then" on TV...and if you are from the great north, you probably haven't seen AL.

I am criticizing nobody.

The NU goalie was supposed to be "great".
Now Warroad's is too...

But so is Nova...albeit unknown.

Expect a close game.

Well if you read the location part you would know i am from Rosemount, and if that is the great north then you must live in southern texas.

OK---

AL doesn't "exist" to the Metro either. We're just little A ball punks.

Everyone in the Metro knows there is only one type of hockey: AA

I think AL has a good chance....Albert Lea is playing their best hockey right now...people that haven't seen them play are not going to give them a chance because they are from 1A and they play the "Great" warroad.....well from what I hear Warroad isn't as good this year....very similar to the Rochester Lourdes or Century who are both good teams but beatable and AL almost beat them both when they were playing mediocre hockey....and I think the way AL is playing now people are going to be surprised when 8:00 wed rolls around.

LETS GO ALBERT LEA oooooRAAAA

I agree with fixer.. Albert Lea has some good gritty seniors and some hard working younger guys and good goaltending.

If they go in believing and play thier game they will win this game.

Marvin is very goood and will need to be Stopped Mark Walton can handle it....He is a gamer....

Good Luck tigers from an old packer.
