And if anyone is paying attention, we have an early leader for Ms Hockey residing in Hastings.....
I'm more convinced of this now than ever (really I just wanted a chance to quote myselfIn a related prediction, the realignment allows Hastings to cruise to state (no more Roseville in the way in new Section 3) meaning the SubEast still ends up with 2 at the X.

I'm sure Eagan (with not one but two possible Ms. Goalie candidates), and perhaps Burnsville and Woodbury at least, will have something to say about that. Cruise? Hey! The season has barely started--aren't we allowed a little exaggeration this first week
. Seriously, they will miss their outstanding goaltender, but at least will have a senior in nets again this year, although somewhat untested. There is plenty of talent in the supporting cast left. And last year they lost exactly one game to non-SubEast opponents! Yes, they got beat up a little in the conference (but who didn't?). That's my point--after playing in that conference all year they get a break by being the only SubEast team in Section 3. Sure Eagan has the goalies but my money is on the big Ms Hockey finalist in February.
